- We are having a busy summer fixing fence and going to farmers markets. Our sheep wool was very nice this year so we are making lots of nice things with it. We have raw wool for sale. Our other project is to find and intern who would like to help work with the cows and getting our pastures certified organic. More paperwork, not our strong suit.

It's not always easy to find a local store that has cost effective grass fed steaks. If you are interested in finding good quality meat I know a great place to buy steaks online. LaCense Beef sells high quality, grass fed beef that is consistently antibiotic free, pesticide free, and hormone free. With a high quality steak a simple recipe with a just a dash of salt and or pepper to be barbecued or grilled will turn out perfect. While I do work for them, I can honestly tell you that they are the only meat I will eat or send as a gift. They are one of the healthiest and tastiest steaks.
